Alpaca carpacio for dinner!

  • Nazca Line - The spider
  • The hills around the Nazca Lines were beautiful, albeit very desolate.
  • Does the logo for Petro Peru look a bit like a Hasidic Jew Transformer? Oy vey, robots in disguise!
  • Kay's plate of scallops at lunch in Paracas.
  • The pool at our hotel in Paracas - verrry nice hotel, "La Hacienda Bahía Paracas".
  • Chillin' at the hotel in Paracas with an Aguaymanto Sour, some banana chips and some dried corn kernels.
  • There were lots of pictures, and pictures of pictures. Yo dawg, I herd you like pictures...
  • Dive bombing birds at sunset on the Bahia de Paracas - the Bay of Paracas.

  • We're on a boat…on a boat…on a Ballestas Island going boat!
  • Yupeng too is on a boat. The very same Ballestas Islands boat!
  • Even Aaron, who does not prefer boats is on a boat. On a Ballestas Islands boat!
  • El Candelabro - the Candelabra. Similar to the Nazca lines, but right on the ocean. I kept reading the name as "El Candela, Bro!". 'Sup!
  • Peeking through one of the Ballestas Islands to the one in the background.
  • Penguins!!!!
  • Tons of birds nesting on the structures used when collecting the guano that covers the island - fertilizer-licious! (And ok, a bit of a heady aroma, too…)
  • There were a few birds here. Just a couple.
